You could think of it as the mainstack is like the DIR that you created a projector from, and substacks are other DIR files that you added to the projector. Whether you go on to do a go movie "whatever", or show a DIR as a MIAW (these acronyms will confuse the regular LiveCod users!), is up to how you like to work.
