LiveCode Personal Banner

Pete, thanks for bringing this up. I just today installed LC and I, too, chose the personal version, being unaware of its limitations. I believe that I could have chosen another one if I had wanted and probably will try to change my license if I can figure out a way to do that.

I've already run into some anomalies with LC. One really irritating "happening" is that sometimes when I switch from the browse cursor to the arrow pointer by clicking on the Tools Palette, I get a beachball for a second or two. When this occurs, I can't get one of the buttons to respond by clicking on it. I get that same "beachball"; even when clicking on one of the fields. I don't lose anything, but sure is irritating as h...

If I quit and restart, things work ok for a while; but eventually this starts happening again.

I understand that I can't distribute apps with this version but I personally find it objectionable that I have to endure the banner announcing that for 10 seconds every time I start a standalone app - I'm running a legally licensed copy of the program on my own computer. If it's not running on my computer, fine, tell me all about it and find a licensing scheme that deals with that but let me run my licensed copy without bugging me please.
