Gradient GUI tool?

You're talking about Revolution, not MetaCard yes?  You're in luck -- there
is one.  With a graphic selected (make sure it's opaque), it's the second
option in the Inspector pulldown, immediately below Basic Properties that
reads [drumroll] "Gradient".
