"Set as Menu Bar on Mac OS" oddities

I also just hate how menubars (do not) work on mac Os X. However with  
all problematic stacks I had the problem went away with hiding the  
menubar group. So I have something like this on preopenstack


on preOpenStack
   if "mac" is in the platform then
     hide grp "myMenus"
   else
     show grp "myMenus"
   end if
end preOpenStack
