Inspect video settings

[apologies for previous empty email - Thunderbird has some mysterious command 
key shortcuts that keeps sending my emails before I wanted it to.]

Is there a way to inspect the settings or attributes of the current video 
source, eg after invoking revVideoGrabDialog?

I'd like to know things like the name of the currently selected source, and 
the native resolution.
