printing hi-res raster images - nevermind

I just found this post from Kevin which covers this well:

    High resolution images will work unless they have a
    transparent mask, in which case they are printed at
    screen resolution.  You can import an image then
    scale it, it will print in its original resolution.

I re-saved the original image without the mask and it worked great.
