CGI Engine - Success and Failure

Thanks to your suggestions, I was finally able  to get the Darwin Rev CGI
engine to work on my Linux server too.
However, I tryed to connect to MySQL database on the server but I was not
able to get any answer from my database .... some of you extablished a
connection from the CGI engine and   MySQL ?
As you said we have been told that "Revolution now has database
functionality built into the CGI engine. All the revdb and revxml commands
are supported."
Where is the trick?
