I want my app (i.e. the main stack of my app) to fill the screen of the 
machine it's running on, apart from any toolbar etc provided by the OS. For 
example, on a 1024 x 768 Windows screen, it looks like a large chunk of 
space is needed at the bottom for the standard 'Start...' etc bar, unless 
of course the user has hidden it or displaced it.

My question is, how can I tell the size and shape of the remaining part of 
the screen, so that I can get my app to fill it? I guess the same issue may 
apply to OSX (if the Dock can be prevented from hiding itself). I am not 
clear that this issue is tackled in the RR documention - apologies if it is.
