revTools at startUp - again?

Tom and Sarah,

I have an idea it probably has something to do with the altPlugin
architecture not being compatible with RR's plugin architecture. I do
everything I'm supposed to do, but there's no real plugin interface API spec
I'm aware of. Chances are, some messaging is getting lost somewhere in the
chain.

If you stumble across what's going on, I'll fix the altPlugins. I actually
need to update them with some new code I'm using anyway. Not to worry, they
should all still work OK.
