Check out SourceForge for some existing command-line programs (VirtuaDub
comes to mind). Then you could write a really nice interface 'wrapper'
around it to do specific things. For instance:

How about a simple program which can generate cool title video animations
with only a few clicks.

Or, a really nice simple to use interface for SendMail. There are many
command line programs which do very cool stuff, if you just know how to use
them. RR would be perfect as a GUI interface for them.
