[ODBC] Connection problems

Hi again,
just for fun I entered the database´s name in the host name field and
*WUPP!* it works. Well this is NOT logical for me but, hell, who cares if it
works :-)
Maybe this helps someone with the same problems (I didn´t find something in
the archives).
