InterApplication Communication

Hi,

I'm pretty new to Revolution, and I'm still not quite sure of all the 
possibilities.
One of the things I would like to know is if it's possible to communicate 
with OLE-servers through Revolution. Can I send commands to external 
applications like word (or IE, or Acrobat,...), as in VB?
