templates request

I second the request!  I've been wishing for easier stack examples too.  I
think a key feature of such examples is that each one demonstrates excellent
code/design regarding one topic.  Example topics are menus, i/o, web stuff,
lists, linking to a database, graphics & images, etc.  These stacks should
be more "sanctioned" than just open user submissions.  They should be
written by the pros.
