Engine 3.0 gm3 unable to open legacy stacks on MacOS?

I still use MC exclusively in all our projects on Mac and Win and do  
not have the problems you are experiencing!?
OK, I only use the "open" button of my "2lz2" palette, maybe that  
makes the difference?
What errors/warnings do you get?

But I will also take a look a the appropriate "open" scripts in the MC  
menubar!

You will also have to change some strings in the "info.plist" inside  
the app bundle!
I can send you an "empty" app bundle without the actual engine, if you  
like.

Then you will only have to put the Rev engine into it, rename it to  
"MetaCard" as you did
and that will do the trick. Just drop a line to my private mail address.
