That's good to know - and now I see the importance of keeping the
stripped-down MC IDE active! I should get more involved in the
community - I have been very busy with school and haven't made much
contribution here in awhile.

This is very encouraging, and this makes me want to upgrade. All
license purchases are done through Runtime Revolution now, but to use
the MC IDE, one just follows the instructions on the Yahoo Group,
correct?

That's good to know... are there specific things to nail down the
speed difference?

No and no. I thought a resize handler was the culprit, too, but I
found no resize handlers.

I just tested something out: the Home stack and MC Tools palette are
unaffected, but the "Standalone Builder" stack, for instance, is

(no, my IDE is usually not that bright purple - I have a script in
Home that randomly changes the bgcolor on every launch)

Is anyone else using Tiger? Does anyone still use 2.4.3, or am I a
lone holdout?
