Converting iOS app build to .ipa file (latest iTunes update stops you doing this)

Terry,

Open up the "devices" window in Xcode and you will see all the iOS devices connected via USB. You can drag in .app files and also add/delete using the "+" and "-" symbols.

You can also create a .ipa by putting the .app into a Payload folder and zipping it up and renaming it like you said.

Hi Colin – I’m not that familiar with Xcode (apart from occasionally using it to manage profiles). Very briefly, what do I need to do to get started there.
