OT (?): Bookmarking GPS coords

And in addition the UK has the advantage of the openstreetmap and 
openpostcode project, so that goes a long way to providing the data to 
get me started :-)

I'll post a fuller description and put the desktop app up on .... 
wherever stacks got these days ... soon.
