Thanks for the links Ruslan. I guess the 'on-rev' aspect is more about how to install packages there, so I've asked that question on the on-rev forum.
Local host is probably easier (in that it's my infrastructure). But, as my interest is web apps, that also introduces the added dependency/complexity of getting the new RevServer installed on my dev Mac and/or server.
