Hey, Peter... the 2.9 build is heavily focused on Linux to make up for 
all the lost time and to get the Linux build in parity with the Mac and 
Windows builds. I know RunRev is committed to it (I was just at their 
offices a few weeks ago). So give it a little while longer - you should 
be pleasantly surprised...
