start player with rtsp://...

Hi all,

I have a player where I set the filename to a "rtsp://..." url which  
works fine.

But when I script: "start player xyz" I see: "-5405: Function not  
supported"
(in german) in the QT controllerbar.

No problems when I click the play button (of the QT controller)  
manually.

What gives? Any hints very appreciated.
