Image Contrast

Hi all...

question about how to script changing the image contrast - you know with 
a slider? As far as I can figure there are three ways to go:

    1) Use the image data and transcript - Chipp had a demo a while back 
I think?

    2) Use an external to speed this up

    3) Use QuickTime with an external

I think I'll need to do this on the PC - possibly on Mac OSX as well - 
any suggestions?
