Standalone to .dmg

Thank you Andre for your response.  The DMG volume permissions are OK.  
I can't recall if I had the same kind of problem when I was using Mac 
10.2.6.  As I recall, I believed it worked when I used the trial copy 
of Rev2.1 (which has expired) so I can't test it now.  It could be the 
10.2.8 version which I recently upgraded to.  Will wait for the trial 
code for Rev 2.1.1 (which is taking a long time to be received) and see 
if that works,
