Standalone to .dmg

Hi,

Using Rev  2.1RC1 and Mac 10.2.8, a standalone build works fine and 
user entries are saved as they should be.  Also works fine when the 
standalone is compressed using Stuffit (.sit).

When using .dmg (standalone dragged to disk copy),  the mounted 
standalone works fine except that user entries are not saved.

I am awaiting a trial code for Rev 2.1.1 to see if .dmg works in this 
version.

  In the meantime, does any one know if .dmg works in 2.1 or 2.1.1?

Will appreciate comments or suggestions.
