Terminal command for fixing Icon images not displaying properly in Mac OS X catalina

Hi Matthias
Thanks for doing the searching on my behalf. I was embarrassed to ask a question that I knew I should be able to find the answer online but I was getting nowhere. I couldn’t remember the terms like the shell command or the name of the colour property that was being changed so I was getting nowhere.
I did remember ‘remove’ but I thought ‘remove' was the shell command but when I looked at man for that I knew that was wrong.
