Is Beginners' Guide up to date?

Folks:
The beginners’ guide, which is access through LC 8.01 (rc2) seems to be out of date. I was sending a link to a guy I’m trying to get interested and I see, on the first page, stuff like:

LiveCode recommends the following set up:

Snow Leopard

SDK 5.0
Simulators Included 5.0, 4.3

Could this be correct? It looks like a pretty embarrassing intro for a newby.
