Two mobile audio issues

I wrote a (personal) podcast app for iOS and faced some of the same issues you do.

> The sound stops when the device sleeps. I see we can set the idle timer but that prevents sleeping entirely (and I'm not sure how persistent it is.) How would I keep the sound on during sleep?


Have you applied the background running plist hack for iOS? If you haven’t you won’t keep it playing when the device is put to sleep.

No idea about Android. Yuck.
