copying an object from one card to another in iOS - possible?

Doh! I guess it pays to actually read the dictionary entry. I¹ve been so
used to copying stuff to the clipboard and doing stuff to it then pasting
it that I completely ignored the copy <object> from <source> to <dest>
method. I think my brain needs a rest. Better put the laptop away and go
out and do some gardening.
