Maverick and mApp and Splash Screen

Ok, So before updating to Maverick and Xcode 5.0.1 I would launch my app on a Device and the splash screen would load and then my card would show up. Now there is a black blank screen in between the splash screen and the opening card.

I am using mApp which uses a substack for the main card.

Is anyone else seeing this too.
