Protect the typing

Type too fast? Can you post the script? How does the user make a new line? By hitting return?

Hello,

i've a table field, when the user make a new line, a script do some works on the 
previous line.
If the user types too fast, sometimes the script moves the text cursor position 
where it changes the data in table

How to avoid it?
