Strange error message in compiled app

I rarely saw this. Most of the time when I tried to go to a corrupt stack, 

The dialog is labeled

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Program: path\to\app

This application requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Anyone else seen something like this before? Any solution found?
