I tested this. It seems "exit top" is valid in LC, a shorthand for the standard "exit to top. It works the same, and throws no error.
So this is not Pete's problem

Pete, you didn't get the point. I said you have to use "exit TO top"; not "exit
top". At least that is what I meant; not that I know it will solve your problem.
