Bob,

This is an issue that has been under debate in the CopyRights/Patents Office/World for decades. I believe we will be seeing some major changes, as we have to some extent already, in the duration of these IP regulations. They are meant to protect and reward authors and inventors; not inhibit development and expansion; particularly in a Global economy! Of course we're dealing with lawyers, so don't hold your breath.

Just my 2¢ worth.
