iOS: cancel in-progress download

This is somewhat related to making in-app purchases, but I need a good (proper) way to cancel a download that's in progress. Is there a way? I'm using 
libUrlDownloadToFile for downloading, and the urlProgress message to track progress. I found the unload url command in the dictionary, but this doesn't seem to work. In fact, the dictionary states it's not even supported under iOS.

Is there anything I can do?
