What's Happened to the Script Editor?

Maybe it's just me, maybe I've missed some notification on this forum. But:

While changing some code today I noticed that the apply, and step buttons as
well as other objects were missing from the script editor.

Maybe some preference has been reset? Anyway, I'd like to know if it's just
me or have they once again changed the editor so we have to learn a new way
of doing things.

By the way I'm using LC 5.5.3. In a Windows 7 environment.

Any thoughts?
