Simulate a popup menu button

Did you use two buttons? He has one button with a cursor icon to 
simulate the mouse. A second button at a lower layer is the popup 
button. When the "cursor" button moves over the popup, clicking at the 
loc of the cursor button will cause the mouse messages to go to the 
cursor button because it's on top.
