Resizing a Text Field

I do this differently than the other answers, and only for the height.

I stick what needs to be in the field in it, then

put the top of fld goo into oTop
set the height of fld goo to max (the height of fld goo, the
formattedHeight of fld goo)
set the top of fld goo to oTop

This is actually much simplified; I actually gather the heights for a
handful of fields that need to be side by side, and then set them, but
this sounds like it does what you need.
