[OT] Android Multi-Page Indicator Convention?

I'm still on Android 2.2, but for that version I rarely see any 
horizontal indicators within an app. The Home screens do have those 
little dots at the corners.

Android has a developer HIG online somewhere, you might look there. I've 
been meaning to.
