On-Rev: translating Markdown text to html?

Thanks Stephen. If I do it I will be happy to share it. I'm doing this at On-Rev. After I hit "send" I thought, why can't I just call the perl script? I will try that in a while, but using shell (right?). Any comments, pointers about this welcome.
