Sort of OT: mysql and select from two tables...?

Bit late to the game on this but it sounds like you need an option menu populated with the teacher names to allow the teachers to select themselves or another teacher. You'd need to keep track of the teacher_id for each option menu entry so you could grab it in a menuPick handler and use it in a SELECT statement to find all the students with the teacher's ID.
