OT: Is there any way for someone to see my MAC address over the internet?

Michael,

if you are doing ARP requests, then your MAC address is visible. Every time
you join a wireless network, your MAC address is seen by all.... internet
and privacy do not play well with each other. Now.... you can spoof your MAC
address but I don't see a need.
