Windows Version problems

Excuse me if ths is a rather goofy question: but, are these stacks all 
substacks of one main stack,
or are they all mainstacks being rolled into one standalone??

Certainly if all these stacks are substacks there SHOULD be no problem 
navigating back and forth.
