How to use 'put URL "ftp://..." if username contains @

Strange to me that a name including a '@' is accepted as a valit FTP
username. But perhaps you mean the username contains also the domain, as
in 'username at domain.tld'. If so, try using only the part in front of the '@'.
Or do you mean the user name is 'dummy at username@domain.tld'?
