How Do I Get a Border on a Popup Menu Button

Hello everyone,

Yes, I realize it's a menu and not really a button but you do click it after all.  When I create one, the Icon and Border pane of the object inspector says that it has a 2-point, 3-D border that is hilited.  It does not.  Can I put a border around it?  I'd like it to look like a Mac OS Action button with a sprocket icon in it.
