[OT] Dead Video and no keyboard

Another off-the-wall thought: I've had problems with G4 machines
before where the no-video problem was actually caused by a failing
battery on the motherboard (the little one in a cradle socket). So you
might see if you can find a replacement for that or at least be able
to test the existing one.
