Is rev Oracle support just a joke?

Hi Jan,

thanks for the reply, I was already given up the hope for connecting
Oracle. Here's the string I'm using to connect the database.

revOpenDatabase("oracle", "localhost", "ORCL", "sakari", "test") ORCL
being the SID, sakari the username and test the password. I'm using
oracle 10g on OS X 10.5, but did also try to connect Oracle on Solaris.

I did try several variation of that same string with port number
defined etc. The string works with other programs like SQLDeveloper, but
I'm not a dba so dunno all the tricks. If you could help me out, that
would be greatly appreciated.

With best regards,

Sakari
