Sarah:

There are a limited number of locations Revolution can be installed by default.
The idea that you can not iterate through them in reverse order to find the current default location.... I prefer to speak in the positive, let's try again...

I believe you should either:
1: Clearly explain your requirements so that the user can move the file for you 
or
2: Use logic and your understanding of the normal Revolution installation process to figure out the installation location.
