Unicode from Variable?

Recently, I wrote:

Hold on -- not those questions.  These questions:

Is there a special character combination to place a return in unicode text
or does the return character need to be formatted for a specific language?
If I have multiple languages in a block of text, the language is "Unicode"
or "w" right?
