specialfolderpath(), WAS: App restart after update

I tried them and two of them simply did not work/ returned empty on OS  
X 10.5.3, Rev 2.9!?
specialfolderpath("home")
specialfolderpath("temporary")

All the others work as exspected.

Is this already bugzillaed?
Could someone check this please?
