Problem with closing Windows App

Just some tiny thoughts:
Do you trigger the 'shutDownRequest' message.
Have you pending messages running that should be canceled?

Actually, the 'Quit' message seems to force the engine to do some  
cleanup but clicking on the 'X' box seems straighter.
