"The thing."
"What thing? What does it look like?"
"It's...I don't know. There were words on it. Maybe if I click this..."

"Oh no, now what do I do? It's all gone!"
"What's gone? What happened?"
"I don't know! It went away!"

I never did identify the "thing".
